About Sahlgrenska I.C.
Sahlgrenska I.C. (Sahlgrenska International Care AB) is a company wholly owned by Region Västra Götaland and dedicated to the task of working actively to export western Swedish health care quality to the international market.
We offer postgraduate specialist training of physicians and dentists. The training is arranged in cooperation with Sahlgrenska University Hospital, the Public Dental Service and the University of Gothenburg.
Sahlgrenska University Hospital has the experience and the expertise to carry out many of the most advanced treatments available in modern medicine today. We offer these advanced medical treatments to patients all over the world.
We assist our partners and international patients in a number of different ways. In addition to medical expertise, we have long experience of working in a multicultural environment. We are also familiar with the rules and regulations governing specialist education and international health care.
Region Västra Götaland has tasked us to ensure that medical surplus material in the region is distributed to countries in need for aid.
