The Evolvement of the Centre for Imaging and Intervention

A unique place is currently under construction at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Here different medical specialties will share a common space, all with one focus – to offer minimally invasive surgery with the use of state of the art imaging and intervention technology.

The type and number of treatments offered will gradually increase. That is part of the idea, to not fully decide what the space should be used for on beforehand and instead allowing evolvement in a research friendly area. The centre is expected to be running on full capacity by 2018. We will keep you posted on the progress as we go along.
