Today we presented the Specialist Medical Training Program (SMTP) for Non-EU doctors to the directors of clinical studies at Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Since most of the conversations this year have gone digital due to the pandemic, it was such a good feeling to finally meet in person.
One of the SMTP doctors joined us for a conversation about his journey. Mohammad Khalil recently finished his SMTP in Radiology and is currently enrolled in a S-SMTP (Subspecialist Medical Training Program) in Neuroradiology. Why did he decide to stay?
During the SMTP I did one of my rotations at the division of Neuroradiology. It is one of the best, and I really enjoyed my time there. The division is well organized, the equipment is advanced and the colleagues are friendly. I’m glad I got the opportunity to stay and do my subspecialist program there”, says Mohammmad.
