Lecture about improved function and quality of life among patients treated with osseointegration

Today on the last day of the lectures at the 56th NOF Congress in Tallinn, Kerstin Caine-Winterberger, occupational therapist at Sahlgrenska University Hospital gave a lecture entitled Rehabilitation and Outcome after osseointegration on the upper limbs by Kerstin Caine-Winterberger, Rickard Brånemark and Stewe Jönsson.

Kerstin presented the results from a study published last year in the scientific journal Prosthetics Orthotics International telling about improved function and quality of life among treated patients. The participation of Sahlgrenska I.C. and Sahlgrenska University Hospital has been successful and we have been able to demonstrate the osseointegration treatment to a large audience.
