Hosting the International Forum for Quality and Safety

Sweden and Sahlgrenska University Hospital has come a long way with the patient centered approach in health care. Challenges remain, but some medical areas have come further than others. Today they got the opportunity to share their story with participants at the International Forum for Quality and Safety in Health Care.

After the presentations all participants are invited to on-site visits to gain insight in how this approach is used in reality at different units. At the Centre for Advanced Reconstruction of Extremities (C.A.R.E.) you will meet the multidisciplinary team as well as patients who have undergone treatment. Hopefully you will leave inspired after seeing what science can do to improve amputation or spinal injury patient’s quality of life. For those of you who are not able to attend – watch this.
