Follow up with Norway

Today we are in Norway for a meeting with the international department at Oslo University Hospital, Helse Sør-Øst. Sahlgrenska I.C. has an agreement with all the regional health care authorities in Norway. Over the years, this collaboration has made it possible for many norwegian patients to receive higly specialized care at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in medical areas where the experience is limited in Norway. Multivisceral transplantation surgeries, bone anchored amputation prosthesis and craniofacial surgeries are a few examples of the treatments offered.

All collaborations need to be evaluated from time to time to ensure that they live up to the high quality standards that both parties have. This is the aim with the visit today. We look forward to having a good discussion about the collaboration so far and how it can be evolved going forward.
