Letter of Intent creates conditions for Libyan patients to receive medical care at Sahlgrenska University Hospital
In December 2011, Sahlgrenska International Care AB was contacted by Dr Fethi Salaani. Dr Salaani is a private consultant in the healthcare field in North Africa and presented an expression of interest to find international partners that could, for patents from North Africa, provide:
- Rehabilitation of amputees with conventional socket prosthesis
- Treatment of patients with bone anchored amputation prosthesis (OPRA method)
- Capacity building within the above mentioned areas connected to the establishment of a clinic based in Tunis, Tunisia.
On the 4th of January, the parties declared their intention to discuss a cooperation within the above mentioned areas. In this, the parties shall strive to deepen the already initiated dialogue between Sahlgrenska International Care AB and Dr Fethi Salaani. The next step will be to meet at a suitable location with the ambition to sign an agreement regarding the above mentioned areas for cooperation.
